| Service Overview Crafts Nurses Physiotherapy Rock Climbing Kayaking Haugland Newsletter Back to Monday Services page Back to Extra-Academic Programme | Haugland Service During the first term the students in Haugland Service go through a programme through which they get to know the various departments and activities that are running at the Haugland Rehabilitation Centre. They are introduced to the underlying philosophy of the centre and have taster sessions with the different departments. During the next three terms the students should choose an area of specialisation. Currently they join in with these departments: During the second term students from the Haugland Service spend a week in Beitostølen helping competitors at the Ridderrennet, a skiing competition for disabled participants. In addition students from the service produce a newsletter reporting on events that are of interest to both staff and clients at the rehabilitation centre and students and staff at the college. The newsletter is published in both English and Norwegian. |
