How to Get Here

The Sognefjord Nordic College is located in the tiny community of Haugland, 3km west of Flekke.  It is about 150 kilometers north of Bergen and 40 kilometers west of Førde.

By Bus/Boat

From Bergen the "fast boat" from downtown Bergen stops at Rysjedalsvika and connects by bus to Flekke. There is also a bus from the main bus station in Bergen.  Either way the trip takes about 3 hours. Busses on the final 3km from Flekke to the College are infrequent, but it is a pretty walk or there is a taxi.  You can find bus timetables at http://en.ruteinfo.net/
From Førde there is no bus service directly to Flekke.  You must take a bus to Dale and then another bus (or taxi) to Flekke.

By Car

Flekke is on route 57 which connects Rysjedalsvika to Dale.
From Bergen you need to travel north on route 39 and cross the Sogne Fjord via the Oppedal-Lavik ferry.  From Lavik travel west/north towards Dale (route 57).  Flekke is 8km south of (before) Dale.  At Flekke, turn west and drive a further 3km to Haugland.  It takes about 3 hours.  Get ferry schedules at Flykesbaatane Ferries.
From Førde follow route 39 west/south for 15 km, turn right on route 57 west to Dale and then south to Flekke.  It is an hour's drive.

By Air

The closest airport to the College is Førde (Bringeland, code FDE). It is connected to Oslo and Bergen via Wideroe Airlines.
